Learn about code violations that lead to safety issues and how to educate residents on the importance of compliance. The second segment is on the ever important topic of Fair Housing. Annual Fair Housing training is critical for management professionals, as Fair Housing cases are on the rise and there are new trends that your management team needs to know and understand. Can your business afford not to have this training?

August: Tree Management and Open Forum
We are pleased to have tree management experts on board to provide training on how to manage trees on your property. You will learn how trees increase your property value and how to recognize potential tree risk and avoid liability. You will also learn the basics of proper tree care, what to look for when hiring a tree service provider, and how to evaluate proposals and follow the job through to completion. After lunch we will have an open forum to address the legal issues and best management practices regarding trees, driveways and other maintenance issues.
Speaker: Peter Sortwell, certified arborist and CEO of Arborwell. The Open Forum panel will include a management expert and industry attorney.
