Topic Description:

This comprehensive webinar is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively review and implement rules and regulations within a community. The course will cover the legal framework established by MRL Section 798.25, which governs amendments to rules and regulations and provides guidelines for proper implementation.

Participants will learn how to develop, review, and amend rules and regulations in compliance with legal standards, ensuring that all changes are communicated effectively to residents. The course will also provide practical suggestions on the process of revising your rules and what to include to strengthen your position and effectively enforce your community’s requirements.

By the end of this webinar, participants will have a thorough understanding of the legal and practical aspects of reviewing and implementing rules and regulations, enabling them to foster a well-regulated and cohesive community.

Ryan Jasinsky

Director of Property Management, Brandenburg, Staedler, and Moore

Ryan Jasinsky serves as the Director of Property Management at Brandenburg, Staedler, and Moore, overseeing the operations of 14 manufactured home communities and approximately 3,500 spaces in the Bay Area.  Ryan has been in the Real Estate industry spanning back to 2008 and has been working in the manufactured home industry since 2016.  He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and holds a Psychology degree from the University of California San Diego.

Ryan’s involvement in the industry goes beyond his role at Brandenburg, Staedler, and Moore.  He serves as an at Large Regional Director for the WMA’s Board of Directors.  Additionally, he has been a member of the WMA Political Action Committee Board of Trustees, Western Manufactured Housing Educational Group (WMEG) and holds a Manufactured Community Manager certification.  Ryan also currently serves as the Chair for the City of San Jose Housing and Community Development Commission and is also the designated Mobilehome Owners/Managers representative.

Andrew Ditlevsen

Attorney, Hopkins & Carley

Andrew Ditlevsen is a member of Hopkins & Carley’s Litigation Department and Real Estate Practice. Andrew’s practice focuses on real estate litigation and land use matters, including representing property owners in unlawful detainer proceedings from notice through trial. As part of his land use practice, Andrew counsels mobilehome parkowners and developers seeking to convert the use of existing parks
